I had the fish masala tonight and i thought it might be third time lucky especially after calling the restaurant and requesting that the fish be fresh and not overcooked (i had had that experience already, twice before). Unfortunately the fish was inedible; it was dry like the leather of an old boot.I won't be going back

This place was so amazing to eat at and I loved the service by Milan I think his name was and he was wonderful, my dinner was also amazing I loved the butter chicken would definitely recommend

We went here for my birthday on the weekend and were impressed with the food quality and friendly service. Definitely not the cheapest Curry venue locally, but very tasty and perfectly spiced. We will definitely be back.

We ordered online at 5.20pm with an email that said the food would be delivered at 6.07pm. The phone line didn't work to check on the order and by 6.40pm we had to drive to the restaurant to discover it hadn't been picked up by the driver. No offer of refund or even refunding the delivery cost. Cold food. Our first experience of this restaurant was very poor. Finally eating at 6.50pm.

My parents have been coming here for 20+ years (followed them from their old Remuera restaurant to St Heliers) and I just went here again tonight when home visiting. The food is incredible and the family who run the place are so friendly and lovely. Still stands as the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had. If you are anywhere nearby you must visit!

The food is excellent. If you love curry this is the place to go. Just ignore the somewhat off hand waiter he actually warms up as the night goes on. It's a small restaurant so can be overtaken by rude and noisy morons with no manners, which is what happened for us. But we had had our meal which was delicious so we left them to it. One of us was vegan and that was not an issue either.

Worst Experience Ever!!!I ordered Lamb biryani ,Vege Korma, Chicken tikka masala, 2 cheese garlic naan n 1plain naan. The biryani rice was not basmati. Lamb was stale. Both of the curries were prepared by an immature chef. Potatoes in vege korma was still raw. Chicken tasted off. Cheese garlic naan the cheese in it was not ready to melt no matter how much u heat up the naan. The food was extremely expensive $75. Just a waste of money.Never coming back here. Thank u
