Have not been in here for a long time. A few months ago.Was really disappointed in the condition of the place. Trash bins bulging with rubbish, very few staff. General cleanliness not great. McFluries more expensive and less ice cream.Those auto, order your own are sad to see. Adverts in there for training in a great company and getting ahead. Nope , machines seem to have replaced staff.Was not impressed at all.Sad that so many businesses take away personal service and they go down hill.Won't go back.McDonalds Hornby us one of the best.

It's McDonald's, it's fine, but sometimes the wait is not worth going through the drive through when UberEqta pick ups seem to be taking priority leading to massive waits and queues. It varies.Suggested either side of peak times.

The ordering system messed up so I had to talk to someone to order, which was fine but they didn't seem to catch what I was saying for a bit and acted like I was trying to get a free item.The other server and manager were lovely.Everyone else's food was good, hot and fresh - but my mcchicken felt like it had been sitting for awhile. Chips were awesome.Unfortunately the tables were dirty and sticky, we had to sit around the corner because the tables weren't nice.I've driven through here a couple of times and found them quick and polite.

No down falls with this Mc Donald's!Everything was on the menu , no broken ice cream machines and the greatest thing I loved was the super cheerful KIA ORA I received from the cashier on the voice com.I LOVE that because I seldomly hear that from take away joints down here in the South Island.

Service not bad. However someone need to pay attention to cleaning, as there was rubbish on tables, dirty tables, full bins and food and crumbs on seats. Placed my order on the screen thiny and said I was dining in. My order arrived in a takeaway bag and I for a tray.You get 2 stars because I was happy with the food.

Came in for some maccies to start my day right and was very disappointed with how my cheeseburgers turned out. There was so much salt and pepper on them I thought It was going to clog my artery’s on the spot. The amount of salt in one bite felt like I had just swallowed the whole Pacific Ocean. Not to mention the 6 stacked pickles. Chips were good though 10/10

Place is very small but apart from that team was on, manager was a good conversation, team was efficient and fast even though drive 5hru was full on and finally a maccas that didn't give more froth then milk in my chai latte. Eastgates not so good with their Batista's unless it's the older lady. She's fire
