These folks here are seriously the best repair shop i've found in Auckland, their communication is great, they're freindly, generous and what I appreciated most was their honesty for time and costs involved instead of being vague about things so I could make my decisions wisely. On top of all that they literally helped me out by supplying the tools I needed for a simple repair and it helped me get the job done, exactly as I needed.I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking to do repairs, and they offer services beyond just your phones and laptops which is a huge bonus too. I will certainly be back in future for my other projects and repair needs.

Advance Computers has been our absolute go-to for all our repairs. for over 3 years. Whether being tables, phones or laptops. The quality of their work is second to none, but the absolute standout is the customer obsessed service provided my Melissa. They have a customer for life!!

I cannot speak highly enough of the service at Advanced Computers Penrose. I had received assessments and quotes elsewhere when my MacBook Air ‘died’ and wouldn’t turn back on. I was told that no data or photos could be retrieved, that I would lose everything, and quoted large sums to reset the Mac.Advanced Computers however, an assessment in a timely fashion, and told us they could save our data. We went with them, but didn’t want to get our hopes up. Turns out: they are absolute magicians!Not only is our MacBook now running beautifully but ALL of our data was saved! After others telling us there was no way.Melissa at reception kept us up to date and in the loop throughout the quick turn around, and in such a friendly fashion. There was complete transparency about cost and work done.I wouldn’t hesitate to use Advanced Computers Penrose ever again and recommend them to all.

If you have any Mac issues, get tin touch with these guys. Very competitive pricing and great turnaround times. They even threw in a $20 returning customer discount. Great service, these guys know there stuff and aren't rip off merchants. Thank you.

Do not bring your camera or lens to get repaired here! Overly expensive and unhelpfulThe instore staff knew nothing about cameras so they sent my stuff off and was I charged $80 per body and $80 per lens for a service that included nothing but a ridiculous quote for $150-520 per item to continue with repairs or simply ‘clean’ which should be part of any service. One camera I stressed was simply to check if a part was available but that was charged at $80 too. The quotes for parts were more than I could buy new replacement cameras/lenses for on eBay for - so no idea where they are getting parts from. I raised my concerns but got nowhere.Terrible value for money, unprofessional, and zero attempt to provide a cost-effective service.

I have been to advanced computers on three occassions and although the technicians have at times tried to tag on hundreds of dollars in unneeded fees, the service is generally prompt and gets the job done.The highlight is Melissa at the front desk who is always helpful, kind and understanding always trying to go the extra mile for a customer.

My experience has been excellent.I started off by taking my laptop back to where I bought it for the repair, and after 53 minutes I realized how useless they were. I brought my computer home and decided to ring around and ask questions of other computer repairers.That is where your office administrator Melissa Murray comes into it. She answered the phone very quickly, she answered my questions as to cost to look at the problem, cost per hour for repairs, and how long it would take without hesitation. The others I rang, either had answer phones on and would ring me back if I left my name and number, or otherwise it was dial 1 for ? or 2 for ? etc.Others were less expensive for the initial cost to look at it, however were harder to get other information from.I very much appreciated Melissa's up front, forthright manner. She was excellent all the way through. When I took it in her professionalism, and again honesty of the procedure and when I would get the quote, and if I went ahead the time it would take to repair.In my opinion you are very fortunate to have such am excellent employee fronting your business. Advanced Computers was the only company I could find that would examine my video camera, which the manufacturers regard as obsolete! Melissa Murray was very helpful - replied very quickly to my enquiries and produced a packaging solution for the return of my equipment that reduced the courier cost. Advanced was not able to repair the camera immediately, but were able to source replacement components. I was kept informed of progress from time to time. The repair labour cost was reasonable. The camera now appears to be fully functional - the camera is a complex semi-professional unit and it will take some time to work through all of the functions, but I am satisfied with the repairs.
