Mad for Chicken Sunnynook

Wow - A pleasant surprise. Ordered the nibbles half original and half with pepper mayo. Owner was so friendly to work out the best price combo for me. Food was crazy delicious. Crispy tasty and good value for money. For me personally this was much better than KFC. (The photo is after we have eaten half of the chicken already - lol

The staff are so courteous and friendly. The chicken and rice bowl is delicious. I've tried the Mad Chicken and the Honey Soy and they're both very good. Our new favorite for takeaway night.

As a chicken lover, a new place for me to explore has appeared. My first attept was lovely and I can’t wait to try other flavours.

i recommend the CPM chilli pepper mayo flavour. it’s a good amount of flavour for you to still be able to enjoy the chicken taste.unfortunately, i didn’t enjoy the mad chicken flavour - it was a bit too salty and the taste was over powering. i also didn’t like the honey soy flavour (from the northcote store) because it just tasted bitter and too garlicky.they always give you a few fries with each box of chicken which they gave us in a separate box as well as a little container of their korean pickles (only get this if you like radish) for free which was very kind.price is honestly a bit steep (1 box = $20) as is everything, so this is a bit more of a treat feed.both mad for chicken stores have very lovely owners/staff who are very friendly and welcoming which is great.overall, recommended :)

Good Korean fried chicken, friendly staff. The garlic tastes a bit more like lemon though.

Visited this restaurant for dine in as well as take out when it was averaged with 4,8 stars out of 39 reviews. Gave the boneless half (priced at 20 NZD) along with the coleslaw (priced at 3 NZD) a go. Both flavours I gave a try (black pepper, mad chicken) were super delicious - chicken has been good. The staff was very friendly.

First time visit, friendly staff. Had the original & hot n spicy, half n half highly recommended. Chickens were very crunchy and fresh. Very rich in flavor and worth a visit. Definitely coming back.
