They had nothing there no shakes and chicken and chips and the pepper pie was way to strong and there Lollie slice was yuck and there custard square in wasnt thick. It was the worst bakery I've very been would nev we recommend

Hot indoors but breakfast was so good.

Great option for lunch. Fresh sandwiches, pies and slices. Gets super busy in summer

We got a pie and an apple turnover from here towards the end of their day. The pie was just ok- nothing to write home about and the apple turnover- well!! I asked for one and she got it from out the back. It was terrible. The wrong pastry- it was like bread. Heavy, tasteless and dry. If they cannot make them then do not sell them. They ruined any chance of going back again.

We spent over $50 here, massive regret none of the food was finished on account of it being dry, tasteless, disproportionate of filling ratio. The custard twist I got had NO custard and a disgusting amount of Icing, actually it was all Icing in bread. Waste of money nothing was enjoyed.

Came in to make a big purchase yesterday. Whilst packing up the 8 sausages we had asked for the lady serving dropped one of them on the FLOOR! As quick as anything and right infront of me she bent down, picked it up and put it at first back into the serving dish (warmer) with other sausages and then quickly into the bag she was packing for me!I said did that just fall on the floor" to which she replied "yeah it did" and I said "oh I don't want that one".....she then removed it from the bag she was packing for me....once again put it BACK INTO THE SERVING WARMER WITH THE OTHER SAUSAGES and tried to grab me another from that same warmer.I ended up saying "I don't want the ones in the bag or any of the others in the container amd also that warmer shouldn't even be out?!"The lady huffed at me and slammed the sausages out the back and then proceeded to be really rude with me. It was actually a really bizzare experience. I couldn't really understand how I was there making a huge order and my server was angry at me because I didn't want food off the floor? I said as much to her too.My reason for this review is that not the lady who served me or the other lady who eventually came out to help seemed to really grasp what the problem was or why I was upset or how gross it is to serve food off the floor.The food we left with was quite nice. Typical bakery Kai and it hit the spot with the 7 of us staying at the house. However I will never buy food from this place again nor would I recommend it to anyone else.Unproven Theory - I would bet almost anything that after we left those floor sausages went straight back into the warmer and were served to someone else later on in the day . They weren't binned immediately while we were there just placed on a bench around the corner."

A little average.. well infact it is below average. I was hankering for a pepper steak pie, so stopped in here, it was luke warm and had way too much pepper. Mightve been just the one I was given. I will try them again when I'm back up for holidays

Port road bakery and Olivers bakery are often considered the some of the best places to get food in whangamata so you better get there before 2pm cause there wont be anything left.

Hangover Pie .. The best ever .. Half Bacon and Egg and Half Mince. All covered in Cheese then toped with a crispy Hash Brown .. You don't need a hangover to appreciate it. A big pie for just $5 .. Top it off with Classic Donuts ... Delicious
