I have been to this place only once. This public pool can be lots of fun for the whole family. However, my Nike slides were stolen in there while I was swimming, so I'm not sure how 'safe' this place is, unfortunately - EDIT: Having left my contact details with an employee, the manager did not bother to contact me.

Every employee, lifeguard, or instructor I have seen there has been helpful and accommodating, and the facilities are, when operating, pretty good. However there's clearly some management issues with the wave pool often being closed, lack of alternatives when that happens, and lesson organisation being patchy at times. I get code browns" don't help

Recently I have been to the Mt Albert Swimming Pool and found a couple of problems:1, The steam room is too hot and it will cause health issues for the customers.2, The lights in steam and sauna room have been out of work for more than six months and it is unsafe. It is appreciated if you could solve the problems as soon as possible as a healthy and safe recreational place is necessary for all the customers.Kind regardsAndy

I don't like to post publicly but hygiene at the pool today was worse than usual. They are completely out of toilet paper. The lifeguards who are apparently in charge of ordering said there is none at all. Ordering systems were blamed. Realistically this is a health and safety issue. Hundreds of people use this facility. It should be shut until toilet paper is provided. My issue is not with the staff who are doing their best in poor circumstances. It's bad enough that there is a layer of scum around the pools, the floors are grimy and hairy, the showers yuk. But this tipped the balance. I had high hopes with the new manager. He needs to manage. And for goodness sake, why not pop out to the supermarket and buy some toilet paper?!

As a senior I attend this centre 3 times a week & so happy to come every time. The staff at the centre & the Cafe a very helpful.Only one issue I had when I rang the centre to see if my class lesson was on but was told it was canceled only to find out on my next visit that it wasn't, so I went to inquire & they apologized due to new staff which was understandable cause know one is perfect.

Friendly, knowledgeable, patience and accommodating staff members. Parking can be scarce at times though a few on street parking are available. Pricing is quite competitive. Have some fun facilities such as water slide for small children, wave pool, and spa. On weekend mornings, the pool might be limited to just the swim school.

The pool is “full” and you are not letting anyone in until 2pm with plenty of people is waiting at reception. Whatever your “system” you have in place….. it’s inefficient.

Ridiculous pricing $141 for 2×2 family and 2x grandparent spectators for 2hours only when the announcementcame for all to leave for the next customers. Left with burning eyes. throat and lungs from chlorine inhalation! The place is small and was absolutely not worth it.
