Highly recommend Carl & his team! We had The Big Smoke for our wedding in March & they were 10/10. Every guest raved about the food & service! We had a fair few allergies with our guests, including myself and they catered to everyone. Food was delish! Would use them again in a heartbeat for any event :) thanks team!!

We used these guys to cater for our Wedding in Auckland a few weeks ago. Carl and the team were amazing and catered to our last minute venue changes without and issue. The food was spectacular, exactly what we wanted. We had several friends comment on how great the platter and main spread were. 7/7 would eat again and again.

The Big Smoke BBQ catered our dinner reception for our wedding at the Athenree Homestead in Waihi Beach. The food from the Gourmet BBQ menu was incredible, and everyone raved about it. The team were amazing from the very beginning and on the day. The BBQ itself was such a cool feature to have at the wedding! Would definitely recommend.

Carl and his crew helped make our wedding day as perfect as possible.From the moment we contacted him, we were put at ease with his calm and “can do” attitude. He made it possible for us to get into Meatstock and try their food, was happy to substitute their usual sides for sides of our choice and even went out of his way to provide us with a family style served dinner as opposed to their normal buffet style.As an American living in New Zealand, I was very keen to bring an authentic American dinner experience to our guests. Carl and his team far exceeded our expectations of the quality of the meal. It’s now been two months since our wedding and I am still having guests commenting on “how amazing” our food was!Cheers to Carl and his team for a wonderful service experience and unreal food!
