I recently went to Riccarton Body Shop to have my make up done for our daughter's Wedding. I m 63 years old and have only had my makeup done for me twice before. The friendly , young woman applying my makeup spent well over an an hour working on my face. She explained what she was doing and helped me to feel relaxed. The end result was a great before and after story. The added bonus was that I got to choose $60 worth of free makeup to take away with me!

The woman who served me (maybe called Lily as per my receipt) was wonderful to talk to. She was knowledgeable and recommended the perfect products for me. She seemed to genuinely listen to me and think about what would work. I love the products and am glad she offered to sign me up for the loyalty card. Really great work !

Body Shop is UK chain cosmetics, skin care and perfume company. Products are of good quality, sustainable and wide choice, sadly for women mainly, with almost no choice for men products. Main problem is pricing, it’s way too expensive without the reason, except perhaps that there are too many sales clerks without need for it , so I guess that’s what we are paying for. High prices means empty shop. Multiple times I have visited location none else is shopping so why you need 3 sales clerks looking at you? Keep just one and lower the prices please and people will come to buy more.

Visiting on 7th Dec about 10-11 AM for shopping for Christmas gifts as usual. The product ranges are not that impressive this year. The customer services are going downhill with 4-5 staff. Will not go back and happy to waste my membership and voucher.

Friendly and helpful staff. They helped me find what I needed in the right tone, and even helped me apply it. I especially love how ethical they are - committed to ending animal testing with a NZAVS petition in store, and even aiming to be fully vegan in a year or two! Love this place.

I don’t come to ‘The Body Shop’ but my partner does, therefor I stopped in to look for something for her for Valentine’s Day.The service I received was rude which put me on edge and I don’t put up with that!Next time ‘LUKE’ don’t be rude to people who don’t really know what they’re looking for and don’t be an absolute arrogant pr!ck in the way you provide your service.To me, it seemed as though you have an issue with straight males so maybe put your personal issues a side when you go to work and provide a good professional service.“Be kind to all, unless they ain’t to you” :)

Fantastic little shop - the staff are all really welcoming and friendly, and take the time to help each individual customer. We were in this weekend and I believe it was Skylar who did my friend's makeup, she did such a gorgeous job and was really thorough about ensuring she did a good job. She asked a lot of questions and made great recommendations. Very impressed and will definitely return.
