Lots of different beers, all very tasty. They're a bit pricey but all organic and home made, so that probably explains it. Good tasting options too. Definitely recommend this place.

(-) Barman was rude and unfriendly. He also didn't ask what we kind of beer we like. I expected him to help us to choose something.(+) Pizza was amazing, delicious and we enjoyed how it was served by a very nice and cheerful man.

Love the beer and always try to make a pilgrimage when we visit NZ. Visited again in 2017, more very good quality beers available since last visit. Bought a box full and even brought a couple back to the UK to introduce to friends.

This Company has healthy low sugar organic drinks. Love the fun labels on their range of bottles. The Ginger Sling was very tasty, with a real pep to it! Yum.

Hi Mike and Trisch,Visited you brewery and restaurant on our holiday in New Zealand had a wonderful time and a lovely meal.Tasted a few drafts of Prefect beer.Only negative thing is that I wanted a free glass could whith i couldn't get (I'm a collector and never bought one glass)Love from Holland

Had such a lovely time at Mike's, only brewery in Taranaki. Good food, amazing beers and beautiful place. Huge indoor, outdoor and open sections. Had 13 beers available fresh from the tap. There was coffee as well. Food, nibbles, platters and great pizzas go well with beers, although not too much available for breakfast. Our top pick OMPA and Pepperoni sun-dried tomatoes pizza was well worth the extra drive.
