Love this place. The Whangarei basin is one of my favourite places. Rayburn House is special. Have bought several pieces of art over the years.

Really wanted to do art here but it was fully booked so instead had a really friendly chat with the organiser and gave me well-informed ideas on how to motivate myself regardless. Super friendly.

Friendly staff. Was free overall. Came with artist friends but the arts aren't good as expected. The lighting and shadowing aren't correct and the body shapes of birds abnormal. Few arts are good. Is OK to come if bored.
