Midas Northwood

I have now had multiple poor quality jobs by Midas Northwood. The first, a brake pad sensor replaced incorrectly so had to be re-done (they did repeat the job at no cost and at the time I trusted it was a genuine mistake). At the same time I had a premium service done - the owner told me they only offer one type of service - the highest level (not like other places where you can choose the level between basic to premium) as they are “proper mechanics” and won’t do anything less.1 month later my car engine was not running well, took it to a new mechanic who said 5/6 spark plugs rusty and some cracked. All replaced and now car runs perfectly. There is no way the spark plugs didn’t need replacing the 1 month earlier based on the state of them, therefore clearly weren’t checked. To add to this, they did not attach the engine under cover back on after the service so I had to stop driving and have them come out to repair this on the way home from the shop.Do not recommend having a service done here, over priced and poor quality!

Midas, Northwood is the best; always go out of their way for their clients. They are super friendly and professional in all aspect of their work.

Ummm. I'm not sure what I did this afternoon when I asked if they could fit me in for a quick job. The lady at the desk left me feeling quite patronized and like a child being told off for being naughty. There was also added work that wasn't nessisary suggested, without even looking at it first. Might be policy? I'm not sure, the message kinda got lost from being told off. Really put me off wanting to get work done there. Easier to just go somewhere else. What a shame.

Would not recommend to anyone especially if you know little mechanics. $1000 quoted. Fixed myself in about an hour for $60

Outstanding service from Midas Northwood. Dropped in to make an appointment & although obviously really busy ( always a good sign ) they found a few minutes to fix my rather minor ( but crucial ) problem on the spot. How good is that ! I will be back & I will be telling all my friends as well. Simply awesome.

Great service, I arrived and straight away they could tell me what the issue was, how it was going to be fixed and what the timeframe was. The guys were very easy to deal with. Will definitely come back
