Dewar Appliance Servicing Limited (Repairs)

So my first dealings with Dewar were about 10 years ago. My washing machine clapped out and I was a bit stuck. Dewar sold me a 2nd hand washing machine that they put together out of two old ones. It was well priced and has been working well for 10+ years without a hitch. Love the environmental benefits from upcycled!Just recently I need Dewar for Fisher & Paykel Dish Drawer repairs. My dishdrawers are ancient (20+ years old!) but I wanted to repair them rather than fill up the landfill with waste. I looked up the error online and it said it was unfixable so I have spent years with only one drawer working. Anyway, Lance had a go at repairing it to see if it was possible. He managed to fix the most recent error and had spare parts in his truck which meant he could get it going straight away. The other issue he couldn't fix so he came back and it's all working again. Because of Lance's expertise and determination to fix it, I have two working drawers again. To think I've spent years limping along with only one dishdrawer because I believed it was unfixable instead of calling Dewar, the experts, first!

I have over the last few years dealt with Dewar appliance servicing on a few occasions and needed to do so once again in the last 2 weeks. My experience once again was excellent. Their speed of response, keeping to the visit time agreed, the skill level, politeness and the care and tidiness exercised in our home by their staff member Lance was again, in my opinion, superb. It is also my view that their pricing for the job was fair. Although, I hope the need to call on them again doesn’t arise in the near future, should it arise, then I will only be going back to Dewar Appliance servicing, because of my very favourable experience with them, for any issues relating to appliances in the kitchen, laundry etc. Thank you to Lance, Beverly and the team at Dewar. You are a pleasure to deal with.

Set up appointment for Tech to meet a tenant. Tech arrived in time slot allocated and fixed washing machine promptly. Great service that I would definitely use again! Tenant happy too....

What any amazing company to deal with. Quite the best service company to deal with in many a long time. From the first contact to the last they have been amazing, even though they were unable to save our washing machine. Dewars are our new go to company for all service now .

From placing a call to the job being completed, this was the best appliance repair service I have ever received. My phone call was answered professionally and was helpful and friendly. Paul arrived a couple of minutes early, kept me well informed of the process, and cleared up after himself.

Very good service from Paul who fixed the elements on our stove (all four needed new parts in the panel behind the switches). He was very personable and efficient, had the job done in less than half an hour. We are very happy to recommend Dewar Appliance Servicing.

Tech arrived in time slot allocated. Friendly, knowledgeable. I especially liked how he took a photo of the problem and showed me (it was only accessible to him at the time). I feel confident that this is a company that does not do things for the sake of doing them. Lance made sure he knew what the problem was, came up with a (cheaper) solution for me, implemented and tested ok. Great service that I would definitely use again!

Great dude but seriously, $112 call out free to come over and tell me my fridge is dead without even lifting a finger? 10 minutes of work at these rates, pretty good profit there. Plus side, I got a free fridge magnet for the fridge I'm going to have to take to the dump
