Dan is the best in the business who provides a really fantastic service. He is extremely prompt, accomodating, honest and professional. A complete gentleman; more than willing to take the time to explain the work the needs to be done.I have been to the garage twice and all of the work has been completed to the highest standard at a reasonable cost. I have recommended and will continue to recommend A-Spec Automotive as the most reputable and best garage I have used in New Zealand.

Dan is an exceptional mechanic. He went above and beyond in researching, sourcing the part and repairing a failed solenoid on our Subaru XV. We have also used Dan for regular servicing. Always a great price and great service. Highly recommend.

Ever since being put in touch with Dan at A-spec I’ve never looked back. Having a mechanic who is busy is good, but having a mechanic that goes that extra mile whether it be on the phone or in person is even better. It puts me at ease and a very trustworthy service provider for sure.

Dan was professional, friendly and very efficient. I booked in for a service, and it was an easy dropoff at 8am pickup at 5.30pm. During the pickup Dan kindly showed me examples of transmission fluid that came out, and what he replaced it with (in colour), the oil, and also the air filter that came out of it. Amazing to actually see this stuff, nice way to build trust with your customer too. I will return to Dan next time, and on my recommendation all three of my housemates have now approached him for repairs/servicing. I would 100% go back. Thanks again

Definitely recommend Dan! I took my car to him for a service and he advised of a few things that would need replacing - he was upfront with what that would cost and was happy for me to decide if and when I wanted him to carry out the repairs. Very honest and helpful advice and I can confidently say I will be going back to A-Spec for any repairs etc in the future. Cheers Dan!
