Kobe Cuisine - Millbrook Resort
Delicious food and fun experience. We sat next to the kitchen and watched the food being made for entertainment. Our servers were great- they talked us through the menu, and helped us select a satisfying à la carte meal. While it was all good, the most notable were the salmon ceviche tacos. Highly recommend.

Initially staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu. We ordered about two entrees and two mains. The second entree took about 1 hour to be served. We weren’t served the mains until two hours later, we were given a 2 hour seating limit and food didn’t arrive until 5min before needing to return the table. We were asked kindly to move seats for the next patrons in which we didn’t mind and was offered drinks on the tab as an apology, but they never came back to ask us which drinks, or give us the drink menu. Food was good, but not quite enough to justify the price, the lamb was slightly over cooked (almost well done). Serving time needs improvement if you’re going to have a limited seating time. Will not be back.

If you are in Queenstown and want to have a. Amazing Japanese Dinner experience , this is your place. If you can get a spot by the Tepanaki and watch the chef do the cooking .... that’s a bonus.The presentation on the plates it’s amazing and from all the places I’ve tried they have the most Amazing Dessert ever ... it’s a must.Friendly staff, nice terrace if you are there in a nice day. Even if you are not staying in Millbrook, it’s worth to go for dinnerLove it

Dinner at Kobe last night was an unforgettable experience. The food was refined, interesting, and melt-in-the-mouth delicious. The ambience was elevated by the warmth and professionalism of the staff, particularly our waitress (Scottish accent, we didn’t catch her name). If you are ever visiting Queenstown and looking for a nice night out (price tag be damned), this is the place to go.

We were so lucky to find such a lovely place in Millbrook Resort, there was really beautiful view inside the restaurant . Great atmosphere! The food was great, staff were helpful and friendly~

We did the Taste of Kobe (chef’s selection). We were told it was $95 each however when our bill came it was $105. Very small portions for the price, we were all hungry at the end of it. Good wine, good fish tacos and friendly staff! We will be back to try other things on the menu.

It took some serious looking to even find this place but it was well worth the effort in almost freezing temperatures! Authentic, delicious and so very very comfortable to dine with. Kobe is situated within the Millbrook Resort, and has been run by the same chef for some 20+ plus years. Their food is delicate but flavours are lively. We ate in front of the Teppan, and it was an awesome experience to watch the chef cook up your next meal. Definitely coming again.

Really good food. The salmon sashimi melts in your mouth. Staff are friendly and will guide you through the menu. Inside it was quiet and homely.
