Quiet area for stopping or camping. Next to Ruamahanga river for fishing. Gladstone Inn situated over the bridge for refreshments and meals.

Perfect spot for self contained 'vechiles and for a picnic. No toilets or rubbish bins on site. Gladstone river behind reserve, over the bridge is Gladstone inn, walking distance if you are camping for the night

Not as lovely as the photos. Also, we couldn't access the camp area due to huge pot holes and mud.

Nice stop for a night or two. Grass area.S/C vehicles only. Hotel 5min walk, river nice to swim in. Recycling.

Great over night stop its by the bridge, so there is a little bit of traffic. There are 2 great, clean green type long drop toilets. They are perfect with using saw dust and no smell

Lovely and peaceful. So many friendly chooks. Quite muddy but cant be helped. Compost toilet and recycling.

Picture nicer than reality. Wild roosters and chicken roaming and crowing. Decided not to stay... did not want a wake-up call at an ungodly hour of the morning. Also, the driveway into the reserve is bone rattling... not kind on your vehicle. Won't be back.

Pleasant free campervan park next to the river. Well maintained eco friendly toilets. Gladstone pub for great meals a short walk away across the bridge.
