Pretty average company. Right from a half arsed install effort (cables hanging loose, didnt bother to screw control panel to wall) to an accounts department that can't seem to get anything right, I'd find someone else to look after your alarm needs. Couldn't get off my contract fast enough.

Be warned - It's very hard to cancel monitoring. I've been with Chub alarm monitoring 15 years no issues, but try to cancel and the fun starts. Their accounts are terrible. Firstly it took many phone calls and e-mails to get the alarm monitoring actually stopped.When they finally acknowledged I had cancelled but they continued the direct credit after the cancellation. Now I'm battling for a fee refund. Provided the account number required.still no response. They just pretend that they don’t receive the notification.

So I was still getting daily alarm fault alerts for weeks after moving.When they finally acknowledged I had cancelled the account weeks before moving, then they continued the direct credit after the cancellation. Now I'm battling for a fee refund. I suggest a smaller alarm company for your monitoring needs, you're just a number with Chub.

Wanting to cancel alarm services after almost 3 years and it’s impossible to get them to cancel my account. Calling 0800 does not help as the receptionist has no idea how it should be done. Made several calls on 0800 options 2 then option 2 again and all it says on the answering machine that email us. Email address is not even clear. Emailed last month but still deductions are going out from my account. Hard to get hold of them. Highly not recommended

Heavily recommend not using this company. Set up and monitoring is ok, but trying to cancel after four plus years is impossible. It is not possible to directly contact their accounts team and once I provided notification that I wanted to cancel they sent me a spurious invoice for non existant services provided six months earlier.

Avoid this company at all costs! Have been doing everything within my power to cancel my account for over 6 months now, and they simply do not respond. I ended up cancelling the direct debit with the bank as Chubb continued to take payments long after the alarm subscription was cancelled. Now they are sending me payment demands for monies owed. Honestly, I have never dealt with a company so lacking in professionalism or accountability. Choose another alarm company for your own sanity!

We did not have issues with Chubb while using them, but cancelling their service proved impossible. Lots of people have this issue as you can see, so I suggest you don't sign up with them in the first place.

Do not use this company. I used their company for many years and was treated like dirt. Made numerous phone calls to try and sort out cancellation of monitoring. Was told by overseas operators that they would get back to me within 2 - 7 days. Never received calls. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.

I called Chubb late at night to ask about putting a new lock on our Church front door and key cutting. Also for some basic repairs to our fire alarm system. They responded very quickly and we arranged a time for the work to be done the following day.The work was done as arranged. Great and timely service. Thanks Chubb.

Have been with Chubb for a few years now. Cancelled 2 months ago. Operator said yes, no problem. 2 months of bills later now they say i can't cancel and must pay out the full contract to leave. I will pop into see them face to face in their office and see what the story is ... stay tuned folks :)
