I have purchased 2 machines from this company both supposedly good quality machines worth in excess of $1000 and both have had major faults just outside warranty. The after sales service this company provides is appalling, I have never dealt with a group of people as unhelpful and rude as these.Unfortunately I am stuck dealing with this company for the machines I have purchased to date however in the future there is no way I will ever deal with this company again and I urge any other potential customers to stay well clear.

Absolutely phenomenal customer service from the team. I work in a senior customer focused role for a significant New Zealand brand, so I’m a tough customer, but the team are five star. Incredibly quick service and no questions asked just got me sorted ASAP.

Our Pro-Form frame broke after about 6 years of use. Elite Fitness advertise a 10 years warranty on their frames. But in our case they did not honour their own warranty, and we were charged for a replacement frame plus labour. My advice to anyone thinking of purchasing an Elliptical equipment from Elite Fitness is to fully understand their warranty conditions beforehand.

Came across the Clearance Centre quite by chance. Went looking for a treadmill (our old one had finally died) and spent a good hour trying out the equipment and asking questions. Did not buy anything and must have appeared to be tire kickers! A few days later went back and bought the machine we were happy with after looking around. A good saving been clearance but has a full warranty. Also bought a Multi Gym (with the money we saved) at the same time. The staff had been great no pressure up to this point. Delivery was made on time and the items installed where we wanted them without fuss. While trying out the equipment by ourselves (we tested them before the guys left) we noticed the Multi Gym was not as smooth as we thought it should be. The manager (I think Steve) was called and hecame around the next morning, found the issue and returned later the same day (at the time he said he would) and corrected the mistake. He then checked all the fittings and made a few tweaks. Great bunch of guys and highly recommended.

These guys are so awesome. We had a secondhand bike that turned out to be a dud. Matt and his team had a few goes at fixing it but in the end needed to do a fairly big repair. They didn't charge for the extra visits and service and were awesome to deal with.

Rude and unhelpful service staff and manager. They completely ignore their obligations under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act. They do not communicate any costs involved in a repair prior to carrying out any service. Just a surprise bill at the end. Avoid this company like the plague!

Purchased a Schwin 430 eliptical from Rosebank branch, after looking around online and at other competitor products. Very good product, team explained in-store all about it, good value. My kids (or dog? - no one has come forward) accidentally jumped over the electric cable and broke it (pay attention to that!) and I went back to the store, they replaced it - no questions asked. Excellent service.

Brilliant service by Steve and the team, fixing my spinning bike while I waited - super helpful because it’s a hike coming from the other side of Auckland!

I purchased a Polaris Elite 600NM Torque spin bike two months ago, second hand nearly new. I loved it until last week when a clicking noise started coming from the pedal. I contacted the Elite service department for a local service contractor, Elite of course took no responsibility because it was second hand but they did give me the information I requested. I paid to get it fixed, got one session out of it and very disappointingly the clicking noise has come back. This is an expensive bike and I only purchased it because of the good reviews I had read online. If this was a quality and well made product this fault would not have happened. Don't waste your money, this bike is not built to last.
