Arkham is great place to get used comic books. They don't cater to new weekly releases but it's still a great place to rummage through the stacks and look for bargains. They also have some nice action figures and t-shirts. And, if you look on FB, you can find their regular sales being offered, by-the-kilo" pricing days and "role-of-the-dice discounts". Great comic book store! The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and open to some banter. Cool product selection! They don't import brand new comics but still constantly get new and exciting stock as they purchase private collections. Go in planning to buy a pile of comics because Mr. J will happily haggle over the price. (The more you buy the more you save!)

Terrible store, I went here with my brother for his birthday to try look for something as a gift and they don’t even greet you. The guy was serving a customer for the whole time we were in there for 10 - 15 minutes and no one’s gonna bother to say hello? Can I help you? We definitely took our birthday money elsewhere

I didnt realise the bloody samoan worked here! but during my first ever visit he was super friendly and super hospitable and even helped recommend me a jla series. I loved that the store is well organized and there are plenty of comics available to choose from with a wide range. Definitely visit if you love comics!

Jeremy and the team at Arkham city comics are unmatched in every way. The level of expertise, service, advice, and friendliness is pure class! I’ve been in on past occasions to check out their comic book by weight sales! Keep an eye on Facebook and do yourself a favour get in on one. Honestly just walk the rows with your eyes closed and pick up a stack of surprises for next to nothing. The reason for my visit today was to get my Spider-Man mad nephew something a little different. I gave Jeremy a call and answered all my questions, made some suggestions, and put a little stack to the side for me. When I got there it was like seeing an old friend that I’ve never met before. We swapped some stories and I browsed the aisles. The best part I hear you ask? The prices were so damn good I could afford an army of Spider-Man mad nephews!Honestly you’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t at least come and check it out.

Never knew this store existed until yesterday. Was quite surprised to see a great collection of comics. Probably the best I’ve been to in Auckland. Got me self a couple of comics I’d never come across before.Definitely going back on my next payday
