I had an amazing experience with Brian and Maria. Both are lovely to deal with, very responsive and were great with communication; letting me know all details at every step of the way. I highly recommend them.

Very similar experience to many others. Unreliable, cleaners kept cancelling and the clean always took so long. Wouldn’t recommend.

Stay away from this company. We wanted a deep clean of our small kitchen and entrance as well as a hallway, 2 small bathrooms and a toilet. We live in an older villa that's not perfect but was tidy and we keep it clean. We payed up front, which was a big mistake. Melissa arrived and was instructed on the specific areas to clean and had 5 hours to complete her tasks. My wife and I wanted to give her privacy to clean so went out and filled our day with bits and pieces as we had guests coming to stay, hence the deep clean. When we arrived home we found the entrance way was soaked with water and bleach which made it difficult entering. Melissa had also got a rug at the door wet. We went into the dining room and noticed the same thing in the kitchen, nothing had been moved, just water thrown on the floor with some bleach. Melissa didn't show us her work and seemed in a hurry to leave and she did. My wife and I had a look around and started noticing many spots she hadn't covered. For 5 hours work she had spot cleaned some places, sugar soaped some spots that had left residue in every place. The hallway was half soaked in bleach and water and marks were left all over the place. Attention to detail was terrible. When we rang to explain that we werent happy with the the result and didn't want Melissa back due to her poor quality of performance were told that we wouldn't receive a partial refund and that essentially an apology would suffice. The person we spoke to (Marie) was patronizing and not helpful. we had to mop and clean all the areas Melissa missed and were told that 30 minutes was all it would have taken to rectify, it took 2 hours! This company is unprofessional and customer care is lacking. We would not recommend them to anyone. Stay away from them!

I've already spoken to them regarding the last clean I had by them. The cleaner was very late, not well equipped and took forever to clean. If I'm spending $260 for 4 hours, I expect a specialist-service to match as i could have otherwise gone to a recruitment company for cheaper general labour and the same result. The areas she cleaned (laundry, tiny kitchen and toilet) were done very well but a family member needed to move her along and finished cleaning the lounge for her before she ran out of time to finish the toilet. She also arrived with 2 cleaning products and a rag. I just couldn't believe it. 3 rooms took 4 hours.

I’m so annoyed. I had booked Absolute Domestics cleaning services online for my sister who was due to come out of hospital. Had a message the night before from a cleaner with some random message that she wouldn’t be cleaning now. I spoke to a helpful person on the 0800 number about this who promptly sorted it, although it had to be a day later than what had been organised. Then I received another message saying the price was going up $44 from $74 to $118. I went online and redid the online process to make sure I’d asked for an occasional clean. The same price came up as $74. I called back and spoke to a different person to talk it through, and received the most rudest customer service I’ve ever had! She got cross with me explaining the situation and I realised she just left me talking and completely ignored me. I think she had pressed mute. I’m absolutely gutted and I will never ever attempt to use your services again. Aaarghhhhh!!!! What should have been a simple process to organise something thoughtful for a loved one, turned out to be such a let down and so disappointing for her, let alone me. "

I paid for 2 hours cleaning. In that time my cleaner vacuumed one room, cleaned 1 toilet, 1 basin and the kitchen— and the kitchen wasn’t done well and one part of the kitchen cabinets was broken. Knowing that these guys get a share of the pay each time a cleaner cleaned what I found disappointing was that when I called to complain they said they could send a different cleaner— which I refused as I’d get to pay all over again to try someone else. No customer care there I feel. If they wanted to retain my business I feel they could have offered to cover a free service with another cleaner to give me confidence in their business. The service was poor and they were happy to rectify this at my cost. I wish I had looked up their Google reviews before booking. A lot of negative reviews with a lot of explaining.

I booked a moving clean with Absolute Domestics, they did not turn up, did not get in touch and when I called they just apologized and told me a cleaner was not available. They then tried to re-book and the same thing happened. A couple of days later I received a message saying my booking had been cancelled. By this point I had already had another company come and do the cleaning. Terrible, I cant imagine the cleaning is any better than the customer service. Stay away.

Their website says” We recruit, train and manage only the best cleaners for your home”. Not even close! Worst cleaning agency/company I have used. Never again!

This is a company based out of AU that contracts people in NZ (not a NZ company). The service is incredibly poor- I booked a day for the following week- did not get a response for four days (from AU) then the cleaner in NZ messaged they could come a week later. I replied that day didn't suit- and have heard nothing back.Received another phone call from AU asking how it went.. when I advised it never happened they asked if I was happy to try again. Because I thought perhaps teething problems (and Covid!) I was happy to... was told a cleaner would message me (including their name) to organise a time... and they have never contacted me... I just would not trust this service in NZ at all (perhaps the reviews of 5 stars are from AU?!)

Be prepared for many disappointments. I have used 2 different cleaners from this company and both have failed to do their jobs. One cleaners barely did anything I asked her to and the other cleaner has canceled on me 3 times. I don’t have access to vacuum cleaner and other cleaning supplies so I really needed that support. So disappointed and wouldn’t waste your time on these people.
