I had an awesome time at here their experience loop was amazing definitely not for the light hearted, jumping down banks, bush wacking, open gallops down the beach, forest trails and beautiful scenery that you’ll never see anywhere else, all on a horse that was born and bred on these hills 10/10 the best trek I’ve been on!!!

We took our small school of 18 students to experience a horse trek, they absolutely loved it. Lonnie, Selena, Bronson, Noah and their gentle team of horses were amazing. Our children didn't want it to end, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the horses were fantastic for their riding level. Communication was great, organising the event was a breeze, and when we arrived everything was set up ready for us to go. Would like to say a big Thank you to Lonnie and her team. Great experience, lovely staff. Jiah was our guide and she was friendly, talkative and gentle with the horses. Very relaxing walking with the horses on the beach. Great selection of horses, even for someone my size (6’6, 90kg). Would definitely do this again.

We made booking for the 6.30pm, hoping to catch the sunset at the famed 90 miles beach. From the reviews, this was a highly rated experience and we arrived with much anticipation.Upon arrival, we went through a needful safety briefing and they shared the rules with all. After reading our profile (riders' experience, age and weight), they have carefully nominated few horses for this one hour booking. They were patient to set up the saddle accordingly and they will also be happy to adjust our posture and saddle when they learned that the position was slightly uncomfortable. Once, we got up onto the horses, we were taught the basic actions needed to ride" our horses such as stopping

This was our last activity on our Northland visit, and it was awesome. We had two guides to the four of us. Very friendly & chatty. The horses were cool & calm, even when they were being passed by traffic on the road and beach. It was great being able to ride side by side instead of in a line like we have done elsewhere. So relaxing on the beach. I was very nervous after having a fall on our last trek elsewhere but I needn't have worried.Selena also took plenty of great photos to share with us at the end. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience. We did the 1 hour beach trek which was enough for us. The set up doesn't look much but they are experienced and care for their animals. Very professional. They also really listen and take into account you previous experience and pair you up with the horses accordingly. I have ridden a lot in the past so was given a younger horse with a bit more vitality and spirit. Whereas my husband who had never ridden a horse before was given an older gentler chap who knew his job. They also popped him in a beginners saddle to give him more confidence.On the ride safety is the top priority but they still take you into the sea a bit and let the more experienced in the group canter for some stretches.A very enjoyable morning in a stunning place.Final tip: go early in the day and slather on the factor50!

I did the sunset ride and it was an absolute dream. Our guide, Bronson, was so personable and accommodating! The horses are healthy and well cared for. They cater to all skill levels beautifully. I have only ever ridden Western and they were kind enough to throw a Western saddle on Ace for me! Highly recommend checking them out! I had an absolute blast.

This is the best trek I’ve ever been on. Beautiful, well trained horses (much better behaved than mine), stunning scenery and a great guide. I also love how happy your horses are. Thank you.

We had a great time with our guide Dea riding the lovely horses alongside the beach. amazing and unique experience :) would definitely go back and do it again !
