This is a lovely little bookshop and we have spent much here; the staff are lovely and very helpful. The owner, however, has never struck me this way. Take this afternoon for example. I'm searching for a great etymological reference book for my classroom and I ask the owner if she might have one on her shelf. She checks and there was nothing even close. When I asked if it would be possible to order one in, I was shocked to hear her retort, Well

Great boutique bookstore with superb customer service from the owner who obviously loves books. My experience earlier today shows just how bookstores like paradox can thrive in a world dominated by corporates.
