Countdown Fairy Springs
I was impressed by their deals and variety. They had fresh produce, meat, seafood, bakery, and deli sections, as well as a pharmacy and a floral department. They also had a lot of Hispanic products and specialties that I couldn’t find in other stores. Their weekly ad had some great savings on items that I needed, and their digital coupons were easy to use. The store was clean, organized, and well-stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this supermarket to anyone looking for quality and value.

Nice staff but definitely not enough staff. Often only one check out open and if your Lucky two. Sick of standing in long queues

The quality of vegetables and especially avocado has not been up to the standard that countdown advertises on Television. As can be noted in photo of avocado can only use half of avocado

Visited during their advertised quiet hours but noticed very little difference. I asked the lady who checked me out about what the store changes. She advised me nothing does and what I was requesting was impossible, she was incredibly rude about me even asking. I pointed at the sign next to the check out and advised I wasn't requesting anything but enquiring about an advertised service which she insisted didn't exist despite the store having poster for it next to her check out. I asked if I could speak to someone else and the manager I spoke to pretty much said they dim the lights slightly and turn the music down a tiny bit. Just paying lip service to the advertised quiet hours instead of actually doing it.

It's a supermarket, no more and no less. Access off Fairy Springs, some controlled by traffic lights. Friendly and helpful staff, good range of items, and the shelves are kept pretty tidy. The usual range of driving and parking skills is displayed by drivers in the carport. At least, the carparks themselves are not as cramped as in another supermarket further along Old Taupo Rd.

I mainly online shop these days as I'm not so mobile. They are a marvelous team at Fairy Springs store. Nothing is a bother I like to.leave a message to thank whom ever does the shop each time because it's so helpful when you are unable to go yourself. The men who deliver are so friendly and nothing is a bother when they deliver .it.
