I love independent books stores and try to support them as much as possible. This place is a gem - my absolute favourite bookshop. Small in size, but mighty in collection and helpfulness of staff. I haven't been able to get into Ponsonby since lockdown so I decided to shop online and received the same outstanding service. Highly recommended.

Great little bookstore along Auckland's famed Ponsonby Road. I'd never seen a women's bookstore before, so the curb appeal was high for me and one of my girlfriends as we walked along doing some shopping. Great selection of books, interesting content, up and coming publications. My only gripe is that it is a bit pricey.

The best bookshop ever! Carole and her team are wonderful. They can source many books that are difficult to find and always provide fabulous recommendations. When you email, phone or order online you communicate with a real human being - nothing is automated. A true treasure of an establishment, with brilliant books and brilliant people.

How could the owner/manager of this store not want a book on abortion when it is such a woman's issue? I guess it is her choice what books go into her store. Just like it is a woman's choice whether she continues with her pregnancy or not. Correct me if i'm wrong, but most women seem to like having their children on the planet.

This is a unique kind of bookshop and I was extremely amused to notice most of the people In store were men. Perhaps that was because the following day was Mother’s Day and men are supposedly notorious for last minute shopping. Having said that I found so many books here that I wanted. This is a fabulously interesting book store.

Love their selection! They have this interesting roster or list/poster of recommended books per year. Definitely not your regular bookstore. Will definitely keep coming back here:)

I enjoyed browsing through the selection of books, which included a good range of New Zealand titles. The bookshop is located along Ponsonby Road and is also open on the weekends from 10 in the morning. There was a good selection of LGBTQ titles aimed for both adults and young readers.
