I've just had a wonderful experience buying a second hand car from Auto Planet. I originally bought the car from the manager Waqas Awan, but turns out he was too busy with the other things to help out with the purchase, so in steps Cj. He was amazing, he got the car tidied up and filled with fuel. He also organised for a new stereo to be fitted as the existing one was in Japanese. Alongside this he got me a loan car for the day while it was installed. I can honestly say Cj made the car buying experience easy. Would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to buy a good car. Car runs like a dream too!

We found the team at Auto Planet to be an easy going, no pressure outfit. We received nothing but great service from Waqas and the team. The vehicles on the yard were good quality and competitively priced. That said, they were happy to negotiate - unlike some other car dealers we visited! They made the decision to buy from them very easy. Super happy with our hybrid. Lovely, clean car and perfect for our needs. Cheers guys.

Miss Maria and Her Boss, helped me with my car purchase, they're are very professional and they gave a lot of recommendations and insights of the cars I can buy within my price range. I can seriously vouch for their professionalism. I only bought a small car yet they made feel like I'm buying a lambo or Porsche, in other words, they never judged my buying capacity and made me feel like a luxury car buyer, great customer service, as of now, I never had any problems with my purchase. love my car.

I bought the Honda fit with them and unfortunately the next day of purchase the car presented some problems. As the car was under warranty, they proposed to go to a mechanic in the city where I live to fix it. Then another problem was presented which I had to take back to Christchurch.But after all that, it was resolved. Thanks to the Waqas' patience and helpfulness, I managed to get the car fixed, at no extra cost.

EDIT 13/12/22: After posting the initial review I received an email from Auto Planet saying that they would cover 40% of the repair costs if completed by a repairer of their choice. We appreciated this but it would have been far better had they just said this from the start rather than changing their mind only after I posted my review. By this stage we had asked our mechanic to order the part as we needed to get the car sorted and so we then had to go back to them and ask them to cancel this, this was frustrating for both them and us. The repairs have been completed and Auto Planet covered 40% of the cost as agreed which we appreciate howeverif they had just said this from the beginning we would not have been mucked around.We purchased a Toyota Wish from Auto Planet in June after our previous one was written off in a car accident in April. We had a pre purchase inspection complete and did our due diligence and were happy with our purchase. However, in November we had to take it to our mechanic when warning lights came on on the dashboard. It turns out that the Valvematic Module was completely shot and needed to be replaced at a cost of approximately $2000. Our mechanic said that this was very unusual and not normal for a car of it’s age and with low kms. We also spoke to another mechanic who agreed. We contacted Auto Planet and informed them of the situation and asked how they would help us in putting this right. They outright said no, it’s outside of the 3 month warranty, we are not helping. Pretty disappointing after sales service and support, we didn’t expect them to pay the full amount but some contribution would have been appreciated as an act of good faith and customer service to a $10,000 customer. They sold us a vehicle that is requiring $2000 of repairs after 6 months. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone after our experience.

We did have a small issue with the back window of the car which they organised the repair of immediately. A great team to deal with, a good quality vehicle for an extremely competitive price, we are so pleased we bought through the team at Auto Planet
