Potato Wedges with Bacon & Soar Cream.I have never had so much bacon with my wedges and soar cream. I only just managed to get through. A very generous portion.

Great cafe with a lot of varieties for the cabinet food (pies, fries, kebab, etc.). The hot food and coffee were served pretty quickly too.

Stopped to grab a takeaway on the way to Paihia and, hot dang, their steak and jalapeno pie is A.W.E.S.O.M.E !What a fantastic idea to infuse standard beef steak pie with the mild heat of Jalapeno!It's surely the best beef pie i have had in NZ to date.You may not agree but that's ok - i'll quote one of my sayings :On this planet

Stopped here for lunch on the way from Okaihau to Tauranga and very pleased we did. Delicious food and a huge selection of hot or cold plus a perfect flat white. Super friendly staff made it a great place to fuel up"."

Food was terrible service even more so. The young girl serving had such an attitude the other staff members seemed lovely definitely wont be coming back to this place also the bathroom was disgusting there was urine all over the toilet used toilet paper all over the floor I cant imagine what the kitchen must look like if that is there hygiene standards . Try the cafe's down the road far better food cheaper to.

Great service, very friendly. :)The fried bread with the kiwi breakfast was an absolute delicacy!And the loaded wedges were well and truly loaded. A nice change to not have to ask for extra sour cream. Haha.The coffee is actually not too bad either for those who like to get a coffee when out.Definitely recommend.
