No masks on any staff,however have a member of staff on the gate entrance to enforce visitors wear a mask.entered the store to collect a pre ordered supply.and was totally ignored by the 2 members of staff on the counter.a total disgrace to service.i was collecting for a friend,if it had been my order I would have canceled and got a refund.the man on the desk wearing glasses was just totally rude to me as a customer.would never recommended this place to anyone.buy local yes I will from the competition.

Posibly the most useless hardware store in New Zealand.Dispite their website and notice on their store saying that they are open they weren't. 25 phone calls and no one answered. 2 two hour round trips wasted. Compared to bunnings - a joke

Purchased a Nilfisk Pressure Washer which malfunctioned after limited use. Contacted the Mount store, as well as Placemakers HQ and Nilfisk NZ. No response from Placemakers and Nilfisk passed the buck. First and last time ever buying a Nilfisk product and purchasing anything from Placemakers. Stick to Mitre 10 or Bunnings if you want prompt service and communication, particularly if things don't work out.

Wouldn't use them again payed for premium they delivered very low quality timber and tried there best not to rectify the problem

Very helpful staff, special deliveries and special orders are no problem. I recommend. Very competitive on prices and will give discounts. Very competitive on power tools!
