I absolutely love my Ruby Murray, Curry it was delicious I would recommend. If you hungry to go and get a good feed lots of choices maybe try the Mild Mango Chicken, I really enjoyed the Butter Chicken dish with garlic and cheese naan bread and a drink of your choice and there's plenty of seating in the cafeteria it's nice and clean and Well kept by two ladies thank you for your service support local business.

On Monday the 8th of August around 12pm I purchased butter chicken mild curry with rice at Shamiana, (location:Centre place shop, FC05/65 Bryce Street, Hamilton 3204). I also have bank statements available. I felt sick an hour after eating the butter chicken and felt bad nausea for hours. That feeling aswell as very bad diarrhoea kept me up most nights along with confusion, and high temperatures. I was hospitalised on Wednesday the 10th of August as my temperature was at a continuous 39.8 for a number of hours. I was instantly put on IV fluids and anti biotics to relief the temperature, but the nausea and extreme diarrhoea did not stop. After multiple blood tests i was diagnosed with Gastroenteritis caused by food poisoning. There is no doubt in my mind that this has been caused by the curry at Shamiana, and I am very concerned for the health and safety standards there at the food court.

I order a single order of buttered chicken(13 nzd) instead of the combo meal (17nzd) hoping that I will receive more but unfortunately I received same amount as the combo. They just add half scope of sauce.

I got a vindaloo here which was high in heat but low in flavour. I buy Indian dishes because I want non-bland flavorsome food, but this place misses the mark. This place used to be good but has been disappointing for a long time now, I won't be back

Got the Chicken Tikki Masala Combo not very happy. Had a lot of sauce and not much meat, and the garlic naan I paid extra for was very hard around the edges. I was only able to really eat the centre, which was barely soft. Not happy. I am currently in the bathroom feeling ill, too.

Got a Lamb Rogon Josh curry combo today for lunch.I quite frequently have Shamiana for lunch when traveling. I've been to 2 other branches in the last month in Christchurch and they are fantastic.This one however, was not.The curry had no flavor, the meat was mostly inedible fat, rice was way over cooked.If you're looking for a good lunch, look somewhere else.
