Where do I begin... iv been studying beginners makeup with AliMcd for 6 weeks now. I came in with no makeup experience what so ever. Iv learnt sooo much already considering its 1 night a week for 2 hours. She has shown me so many styles and different skills to work with. She is very professional, friendly & bubbly. I highly recommend AliMcd if your are wanting to take your beauty career to the next level.

I can not speak more highly of Aliana and her classes.I was heading to Auckland to spend thousands at a makeup school, when I thought I’d get a head start and do the Ali McD beginners course while I had some time. Turns out I never wasted that money going north, instead I also did Ali’s advanced course and got a job on a makeup counter (something I personally believe is essential for every new makeup artist).Not only did Ali share her skills and experience in a professional and encouraging environment, she was also instrumental in getting me my first jobs in the industry, leading to international fashion campaigns and magazine editorials.I moved to Sydney to advance my career, leading to an amazing role as a State Trainer at MAC Cosmetics where I was able to share with others many of the tips I learned from Ali. I am now working my dream job as a makeup artist in television, for Australia’s biggest network, working on some of the highest rated shows and most famous faces in the country.I know I’ve worked hard to get here, I believe you have to put in the hard yards and be open to feedback to really succeed, but I will never ever forget or fail to appreciate the start that Aliana gave me. She is truly a wonderful leader.

Ali is an amazing tutor and I learnt so much from her in the Masters course . Ali is very personable and spent alot of time working closely with and caring for her students wellbeing and was also very generous with the fabulous Revlon kit supplied. My career in the industry has taken off and this is where it all started . 100 % recommend learning from this lovely lady and team ❤️❤️

I had an incredible experience at Ali McD Makeup School!I feel that as a student I was well looked after, supported through out my time inside of class and cared for even after class had ended.Ali is an amazing women and I truly enjoyed learning from her as a tutor and mentor. She makes the class a really warm and inviting place to practice our makeup skills and learn in a positive and safe environment.I loved meeting the other students and was always excited to go to class!Ali also gave me multiple opportunities in the makeup world as a makeup artist on two independent film sets, and retail experience as a counter manager.I am forever grateful for the tools she gave me to be the best makeup artist I can be. Zero regrets! 10/10 !

Ali is an amazing teacher, very approachable, so supportive & generous with her knowledge, time & products (even after graduation) As much as you want to learn & gain from the course you will. Aliana of Ali McD Makeup School is fantastic! I jumped straight in at the Masters Class and would have classed myself as a beginner with no confidence. Classes were structured exactly how I learn - show then do. The course provided a comprehensive kit in class and a huge amount of makeup to start our own kits. I finished the course with amazing photos for my portfolio and the confidence and knowledge to make a career out of make up. To date I have had the pleasure of working with mother of the brides, and black tie guests to events. If you have a passion for makeup I highly recommend Ali McD, a great investment in your career.
