Fisher Funds
They used to be one of the best a few years ago but recently they take the awards for having the worst performing funds - worse than their respective market index. And they dare to charge an exorbitant > 4% in management fees (for doing worse than the market!). If you left your money in an index fund for almost no cost, it would've done much better. Fisher Funds have the most incompetent fund managers around. They ‘manage’ the funds to actively shrink your money and then charge you the highest fees for doing that!

Invested funds with their managed funds scheme for 12+ months, service was poor when I signed up with wasted time and miscommunication, all for a negative return.

They are great at losing your money and not responding to any enquiries. However, if there is anything else you need, you are better off going somewhere else. Don’t waste your time with them.

Poor experience. I've been on FF since 2020. Invested around 60k which is down around 2 to 3k. I'm on growth fund and understand risks and investments, since I invest myself on foreign stock markets, FF doesn't beat the benchmarks. I would be better off buying an index fund in America. Sad, have contacted the managers, all they say is explain it's a tough couple years, and this funds are risky and I should wait...

I retract my former negative review. Fisher Funds has proved itself helpful, friendly, and responsive to the particularities of my situation.

Never lost money so fast , won't be doing that again, transferred my Kiwisaver bank to my bank and it bounced back fast , also lost $ in a fixed deposit , invest elsewhere

I have managed funds in NZ with Fisher and in Oz with Hesta. Similar spread of risks. Hesta has, in the last ten years, out performed Fisher by 20-40%. Particularly during the last 2 years. I suggest fisher funds managers deposit all funds with Hesta and take the rest of their life's off. everyone will be a winner.

As a 20 year + investor the Service level delivery has been restored <>< Part % apply but not visible in the (client) Portal ... So being foretold is being forewarned.I can now plan Dollar cost averaging without affecting a re balance not intended .Thanks Karl , . Confidence restored .....

Just wanted to add a bit of a review after reading some of the others. My experience with fisher funds has been mostly positive though I had some trouble getting started. Emails not being answered etc. I suspect their maybe an issue with their email at present as they just didn't receive anything I supplied, being with a major enterprise email provider, I am confident the issue was not on my end lol. After calling everything was ironed out and the rest was easy. I am happy with my result so far after 1 year, it has been a terrible time for investing and my portfolio has stayed pretty stable which is about the best I hoped for at the moment :). I am expecting as things pick up, I will do well with Fisher Funds. I see a lot of reviews regarding kiwi saver losses and regulations, I can only suggest that people really learn what they are getting into before investing. In the current economic climate capital decline is to be expected IMO, and Fisher Funds is bound by the same regulations (government) as everyone else. Hang in there people now is not the time to pack it in, you don't loose anything until you cash out, and if history is anything to compare to, there will be tremendous upside to this roller coaster ride we are in at the moment.
