Came in on a rainy day, took myself for the tour & it was amazing.Umbrellas & hiking sticks available.Went to the lookout & it was fantastic. The only suggestion I would say, is to have more markers of how far away you are from the lookout as you’re walking. There is also the option to hike up Braddicks track, about an 8 hour loop, but you must let staff know as the car park closes at 6pm.Watched the Eels get fed & saw plenty of birds in the averys. The staff were very kind & informative.$24 per adult but half price if you’re a local from Featherston to Danniverke.10/10

I recently visited Pukaha National Wildlife Centre and I must say it was a great experience! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the facilities were well-maintained and clean. The wildlife was great, and it was amazing to see these animals in their natural habitats. In addition to being a great place to learn about and observe wildlife, this reservation plays an important role in conservation efforts. It's clear that the staff is dedicated to protecting the animals and their habitats.I highly recommend visiting Pukaha National Wildlife Centre for anyone who loves nature and birds and wants to learn more about conservation efforts.I wish there were more to see - but! We have seen some under-construction marks - hopefully, they will expand soon!

This is a world class attraction. Was totally amazing to see Kiwi and to have a special moment with the Kokako. Amazing staff and the walks and tracks in amazing condition. Highly recommend. Get up close and personal with the best birds of NZ. And some living dinosaurs too.

Not only a great place to view the captive birds and learn about NZ wildlife, but also a great place to enjoy a walk through native NZ bush (forest). I was there in February when the cicadas were in full chorus. Be sure to leave some time to call in when en route between Hawkes Bay and the Wairarapa

This place is really amazing. I love seeing native birds I don't normally see. The kakariki, takahe, and kokako are incredible. Also, seeing the kiwi is really cool. The cafe is nice. The birds are all really easy to see. The kokako is friendly and fun. I recommend this for anyone who wants to see native birds.

Beautiful place with lovely staff. One of the ladies took the time to sit down with my son at the store, read up a story for him from a Maori child book and translate it into English, also explain without even purcha the book. Thank you very much for the experience ❤️

Really amazing nature reserve doing some incredible things. Arrived early to avoid bus tours & it was surreal. Kiwi house & talk was a definite highlight. Will definitely return when in the area again & suggest to everyone.Bought some art off the wall & donated, highly suggest doing the same
