It was my first time planning an unveiling so it was very hard to choose which headstone masonry to choose from but i dont regret choosing you.You guys were very helpful in knowing whats best for the headstone and the short notice period of time you guys came in to the rescue.The headstone looked so much better than what we expected and everything from the service, to the finishing product was amazing.Thank you so much for your help.

This family run buisness is the place to go. The owner Trish and her daughter and son add the personal genuine service that is second to none. Trish was so wonderful to help generate 2 of the most beautiful headstones for my son and daughter. What really stood out compared to other headstone places was their genuine care about the end product and making it affordable and going above and beyond what one would expect to make the small meaningful intricacies on the stone perfect in some areas at their cost..... I can't put the extent of my gratitude into words it's just not possible. Samantha, Adele, Trish and the team were great in helping me pick out a headstone for my Mum. They were able to arrange enhancing a very grainy photo of my Mum in which we were able to have on her headstone. On top of this, the cost was reasonable and included their stonemason visiting my Mum's plot which was a good 30-40 minutes away and to provide a estimate and how they were going lay down the concrete pad and headstone. I was able to arrange all this via communication through emails whilst in London and during the 2021 COVID outbreak. My whanau and I are truly appreciative and very happy with the service they have provided and truly deserve the 5-star rating that I have given. Art In Stone provided me with a detailed quote for my parent's headstone. They were competitively priced and afforded me exceptional service when I wanted to proceed with the headstone. Adele in the shop was efficient, friendly and sympathetic. They were true to their promise with regards to the timeline for manufacture and installation at the cemetery. In December 2019 with the assistance and expertise of Waka Kotahi, led by the regional manager Jacqui Hori-Hoult, the remains of 14 of our ancestors were reburied in the Kaeo Public Cemetery.The remains were originally buried in a private cemetery dating back 178 years.In 2020, Art in Stone was commissioned to restore and relocate the original headstones found on the original burial site and also supply and erect three new headstones so all the ancestors reburied were recorded and honoured.Shelley also wanted to tell the family story, working with Trish and Samantha from Art in Stone a large ceramic photo plaque set out as a family tree was decided upon and coupled with the new and original headstones, the end result is a stunning memorial to these early settlers of Kaeo.The descendant families are very pleased with the amazing end result.We would like to thank the whole team for their professionalism and hard work throughout this journey, you all made our experience a very special one.Shelley and Norm Smyth

In 2014 Trish arrived at my place with a mutual friend. I had never met her before. During our two days together the mutual friend and I talked about our past including the death of my infant son, Kasey. I told her that he still didn't have a headstone.Trish offered to make me one. I cried. The headstone that Trish crafted is absolutely beautiful. She consulted with me every step of the way, and consequently there were never any errors or problems.Trish even delivered it to me in the Wairarapa in time for the 30th anniversary in 2016.Trish was understanding of the complications, totally empathetic to the level of emotion this raised for me, delicate with suggestions. I could never in my dreams have been able to commission something as perfect as my son's headstone.I totally reccommend Trish and Art of Stone.
