Great friendly and hard working team. Some fish were left off our order, I let them know and they worked really hard to correct the order. The burgers are pretty decent too.

Last night we had really yummy fish and chips from the takeaway bar. Very nice batter on the fish, crispy chips and not greasy. A good price too. We had icecreams today from the store. A good size scoop served, even on the kiddy cone, and again a great price! Tinō pai. We'll be back.

Had a great experience here tonight. We were treated to lovely, friendly service and a very generous and delicious serving of Terakihi and chips. The batter was well cooked - crisp and delicious. We would be happy to recommend.

My experience with himitangi beach store takeaways wasn't very convenient. When we were going get the meal we were told that they had no Sausages. The batter on the hotdogs,onion rings fish and doughnut It was over cooked. My brothers doughnut looked disgusting. Overall 1 out of 5 star

Great food, but pay with exact change. We were served by a man who scammed us out of 10 bucks. I noticed but didn't want to make a fuss. I then literally heard him say, got to keep profits up"

Absolutely useless. How places like this can survive I have no idea. Not taking orders at 7.30 on a Saturday evening in the January holidays. Obviously poorly run and lazy. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. Won't be going there again. Poor poor poor

Literally the worst fish and chips I've ever had. Skinny piece of fish that was all batter and completely overcooked. When we ordered they said it would take 20 mins. We waited an hour. There were five other people waiting, if that. People that ordered after us with bigger orders were served first. No communication about why it was taking so long, until I asked and was basically ignored. Then when we finally got our food, we were rudely bombarded with irrelevant excuses as to why our food had taken an hour. We wanted to have fish and chip with the sun setting. The sun had set by the time we got our food. If I could give it a zero I would.

I have worked many years within a well established takeaway and can say confidently, the fish they are serving here is very old - you can smell it before opening the pack. The chips are passable, sausages lack quality and taste and the cooking oil needs cleaning. It is obvious, help/proper management is needed here.
