poor service from the computer department. I went into the store about 1 week ago knowing roughly what I was after. it was less than about 1 hour till closing so the department wasn't busy. There were about 2-3 customers being looked after by other staff (which was fine). I wandered around the same area waiting for a staff member to come and help me out. waited and waited...for around 15-20mins I wandered around and not one staff member came to assist me. there were several staff members around mingling and chatting and laughing among themselves and with other people in non uniform clothing interacting with them as well. I was the only customer wandering around on the floor at the time as well. In the end I got fed up and left the store and took my business somewhere else and ended up getting the product I was after over $250 cheaper than what you guys had it advertised for anyway! More fool those staff members as they missed out on any commission they would have got because of my purchase! I have purchased from the department on numerous occasions in the past and never had any issues with customer service, none at all!This experience really put a sour taste in my mouth. With any other major purchases in the future, when it comes to this department I will definitely be thinking twice before I part with any money again!

Have been shopping at Harvey Norman for more than 10yrs now but had a very disappointing experience lately. Manager of computer department was very rude on the phone. Was airing out my concern and relaying to him my experience as a customer and straight away insinuated that i was lying and proceeded to defend himself and his staff. Instead of hearing me out, apologizing and listening to my concern which was valid, he ended up yelling at me on the phone. I had to explain myself over and over again before he finally understood what i was trying to say and realized that he should not have acted like that to a customer who was just inquiring about something and narrating an experience. We had an agreement in the end but prior to that, he was displaying very poor customer service and no empathy at all. Shocking behavior from a manager of a department towards a customer.

I have had a 6 month drama with a vaccum cleaner that did not work properly no matter what we had replaced. Kurt and Matt were able to really help out and got me sorted. I now have a clean house and they have a good review.

Great service and variety. Prices good on special. Easy exchange for faulty Panasonic fridge. Thanks again.

Don't offer click and collect delivery to car if you can't do it. 50 staff on not one customer and you still can't do it or have it ready to pick up. That's literally the one reason why i shopped with you guys and you totally failed. Don't use this service with this store. Lucky I'm not disabled and counting on that service or I'd be waiting a long time. 2 staff walked right past me not even acknowledging me waiting

So this store now appears to be our go to place hehe Tempur bed is fantastic love love love the comfort but it definitely needs the bed surround when you buy otherwise the mattresses (californian king - 2 split mattresses) slide off so that is what we ended up with in a new purchase of a surround - great team to deal with although we hopefully dont need to go back there. We are now utilising the other departments staff are also very helpful

Great service from a very knowledgeable young man Ryan . He sold us an amazing Lg vacuum cleaner. It has done everything he said it would. Very happy ☺️

So lovely! The dyson I wanted was sold out and they went out of their way to order one in from another store - Thank you Mike and Elijah. I also needed a security camera and stephen spent 45minutes with me going through all the cameras and the pros and cons. I was very impressed with his service, best service I've received in a very long time.
