Comfy seats a quick flic of the Fiordlands National Park, and a brew if your so inclined. Just wish the tour bus hadn't introduced hacking and coughing audience partisans.

Delightful little cinema with a 30 min docu about the area. Great to see some of the remote, inaccessible places in Fiordland from a comfy warm seat after a day of exploring/hiking. Nice pre-dinner activity / respite from the rain.

We were recommended at the local gallery to go and see the beautiful cinematography of the local Fiordland. Ata Whenua - Shadowland, certainly didn't disappoint, the film is a delight to watch and very informative too.The cinema is cosy with a vintage feel, we enjoyed sitting by the fire with a tasty ginger beer before the film. There's a bar to relax in too. A great idea for something to do in an evening, very budget friendly as an added bonus.

Stunning decor. Stylish and elegant atmosphere. Carefully-chosen wines and spirits. Enjoy a pinot by the open fire!The (Black) Dog is always my go-to in Te Anau. The vibe is warm, welcoming, friendly and, above all, classy!In winter, with the open fire and a glass of glühwein, it is the place to be.

The cinema is really nice and screening on every hour between from 9am to 7pm the wonderful New Zealand Fiordland movie Ata Whenua - Shadowland. It shows the stunning natural diversity of the Fiordland.
