Great Barrier Island Community Heritage & Arts Village
Lovely local museum with alot of interesting historic items dating back well.over 100 years. Some of which (operated assisted telephones) were only replaced in the mid 1990s...The arts shop featuring a ton of different art works for sale all by local artists or artists with a connection to the island. The assistant vowho was working on the Sunday afternoon was extremely helpful.amd knowledgeable about the island having lived there for over 20 years.
