The Woodshed Dunedin

Just wanted to say thank you to Dunedin Woodshed staff for their dedication to help Dunedin people to stay warm during this difficult time.Their delivery was fast, 2 days after ordering on-line. The amount of wood delivered was generous, definitely dry and with virtually no rubbish. Thank you again for keeping us warm. God bless and stay safe.

These guys are great. I live miles away but sometimes just go in to grab a bag of macro for a good yarn. Love the drive through extravaganza. Nice work guys

Great that we can borrow a trailer for free as we live out of town in Waitati, this gives us the option to get the wood home and the trailer back within 2 hours. Just enough time to do the mahi.

Drove up polite person on desk answered all my questions delivered when they said it would turn up The guy who dropped the wood off made sure all the wood was out of the back even jump in himself to get a small piece that was caught behind cage. Good size bits of wood.

I am a bit annoyed at the Woodshed right now as I checked their website to see if they were open and all it says is that Queens Birthday might affect these hours. To me the answer is simple they need to let customers know if they are open or not and it should say this on their website under the hours listing as I wasted my time today thinking they were open but they were closed.Bill Swift

We ordered from here and needed the dry ready to burn wood as we have an infant and it is winter. We had used more of our wood for the year than expected. Unfortunately it arrived and was not burnable yet, it smoked heaps in our fire and was clearly not dry. My partner contacted them to confirm it is supposed to be dry and ready to use and then we both emailed advising we were not happy with the wood that was not ready yet. Neither of us received a reply even though they emailed back almost immediately and answered the questioned about if the wood was ready to burn. Really disappointed in this company.It was delivered promptly and the wood was chopped into good sized pieces so that is the positive.

Friendly and fast, but not recommended to old people or people with any physical problem to come and pick up with you car as you have to load the wood on it.

Staff are friendly, but if you don’t want to go into the store, they’ve also got a website where you can order online. Great product range for buying wood during off-peak seasons. Their buying guides were really helpful, and the delivery is really quick too! 10/10 would recommend to a friend

Ordered online around 11am and delivered before 3pm. Happy with the size of the load and its dryness.
