I came up with an idea to make cushions using old T - shirts that have sentimental value that can't be wore anymore . I paid this business really good money . It should had been cheaper but I went along with it . Now for the money that they took for the job they didn't complete the job by stuffing the cushions . I even gave the business more than enough time to do it as Easter was coming so I collected the cushions after the break . I even left a cushion there to give her some idea what I wanted done . You madam are a rip off artist and a lazy business . Just remember words get around and the public read these reviews . So good people of Christchurch think twice before handling the money over . I will never use her again . I trusted you madam .

Poor service. Made to feel like an inconvenience. Workmanship was overpriced considering it was only a zipper needing replacing and rips were left unsewn. Time allocated took a week longer. Would not recommend.

I took some of my expensive pieces to be altered to fit my body. A little nervous to drop them off but was so happy with the results. They did a great job & will be going back

I brought my wedding dress here to fix a small tear in the lace. What I thought was an easy stitch back together turned in to a complete lace patch done to the most impeccable standards. I can't even tell where the patch is. The qaulity of work is outstanding. After the care I felt was taken on my dress I took a jacket to be taken in at the back. It is absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend Merivale Tailoring and Alterations for anything small or big! Nothing seems to be a problem and the care and service is something special. Thank you

Fantastic service here with good skill for mens suit tailoring. Allow enough time for complicated tailoring jobs. They do a quality job and good things take time.
