Great place for weekend activities. Boating superb but be aware that the boat ramp uses paywave. Not always working, my son ended up with a $40 fine.

Beautiful lake watch out for sandflies saw jetboats on the lake great place to stop and take photos we just did a drive by on way home to Kaiapoi

Based here at the Hotel for trout fishing @ the area which worked very well. Economical accommodation with superb views, great bar, sound food.

It’s always a treasured stop.The still lake framed by patterned mountains has dispersed the charming cloud structures all over its surface. The hot sunrays are kept in check by a southeast breeze, which helped the ambiance reach a near perfect tranquillity.The scene will delight any traveller, including the ones burdened by excessive expectations.
