OK really working you say it's a river but it's a beautiful river it's also in a beautiful place this river should be treated with a lot of respect enjoy your time here but be very careful the fishing is wonderful scenery is stunning

Moved to Waiau last year. My partner and I have been using the local river to practice on our kayaks. We've had a fair amount of amusement so far despite low water levels.

As with most of New Zealand, this is a beautiful scenic area with it's beautiful blue water, green grass and a background of spectacular mountains and trees. Go have a look if you have the time. You'll see what I mean.
