Whataroa River
Amazing experience seeing the kotuku white heron sanctuary. Easily accessible mostly flat 15 minute walk through native bush. Lots of viewing time. Also lots of tui, shags and wood pigeons.

Toilets is disgustung. Dirty ans without toilet paper. Near by parking place is rubbish old tent and plastic box in a forrest.
