Hamilton Lake

We have finished the walk around the lake in 45 minutes in the morning. The atmosphere was so good, warm, and friendly. Lots of people were there jogging, walking the dogs.....

Great place to spend time with friends, family & kids. Here birds are very friendly with people. Evenings are the wonderful times for photography. Lake view will give wonderful snaps. Excellent place for relaxation and walking also.

Great place for a walk. Park for children. The geese and ducks are there to give you company when you take a walk around the lake. Very well maintained too. Loved it

Nice view and beautiful lake. Walking path goes right around the lake. Unfortunately water is unsafe for swimming due to bacteria (when I last visited).

Beautiful wide, flat pathway to walk, jog. Especially love the boardwalk part of the walk where you see lovely water lily of different colours. Lots of parking here at different parts of the lake. You can drive almost all of it too. It has two comprehensive playground areas. One of them also boasts an area with free fitness equipment. There are many areas to kick back and have a picnic, play a bit of touch rugby, catchup with friends and family or just sit, relax and reflect. Popular place for sure. The cafe is very popular. Birdwatchers will love the up close experience with different species like, pukeko and ducks. So close to the CBD too!
