Nice and FriendlyA regional Koru lounge with lots of sun and views.Helpful staff with clear communication and lots of support.Good range of reading material and food.Enough variety of food to count as a dinnerAirport is being up graded at present so may change in future.Well worth visiting. Nice views and easy to see planes if ready to depart and landings.Often you can see Taranaki as you leave.

Nice little lounge,profiteroles are yummy and served at lunch.

Regional lounges have inferior food despite the expensive flights to fly to regional NZ. They tend to be too small also. I think AirNZ are trying to improve the situation but until they do, they are a 2 star.

Service was terrible at the cafe/beer. If you want a drink by the time you get served you will have missed your flight.

Simple and small lounge upstairs behind the Air NZ desk.Not always staffed so self-service options are included. A reasonable range of food although the minimal patronage means that a lot of it was stale during my most recent visit.The big plus is the comfortable and quiet environment with a great view over the tarmac.

It's like a little bubbling city of travelers with a nice vibe and enough reasonable food to keep anyone happy.

I know it's a first world problem but as a regular flyer (every week) I'm totally over the food which never seems to change.. otherwise the service is friendly and helpful

Generally fantastic and I always choose to fly with airnz when I can, however ground crew at New Plymouth Airport were unprofessional, unsympathetic and unwilling to even try and help. After being 5min late to check in to a domestic flight with no baggage and the plane was still on the ground. Staff were too eager to move me to the next flight 2 hours away and charge an extra $100 when my original flight was half empty and not departing for another 25min. I understand these are tough times for everyone but thats exactly when you need to show a little more compassion toward your clients. I hope someone from airnz reads this so that they can improve customer service going forward.Do better Airnz.
