Hackthorne Gardens Luxury Accommodation

Hackthorne Gardens has given my family an excellent stay. The room is huge with nice and peaceful mount view. The manager is always helpful and professional. Would recommend to all. A++

This place is amazing, absolute hidden gem in the hills, apon entrance the staff were amazing and the room was immaculate. Will defaintly be visiting again !

Wir waren für 2 Nächte im Hackthorns Garden und haben die Zeit genossen. Der Check in gestaltete sich sehr unkompliziert und Eric, der für alles verantwortlich und die gute Seele des Hotels ist, zeigte uns persönlich das Hotel und unser Zimmer. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit dem Kingsize Bett gebucht. Das Bett war sehr groß und bequem, allerdings nicht so groß wie ein Kingsize Bett. Der Raum ist sehr luxuriös ausgestattet und hat einen unglaublichen und unbezahlbar traumhaften Ausblick auf Christchurch. Eric gab uns ebenfalls Empfehlungen für Restaurants, da im Hotel derzeit kein Abendbrot angeboten wird. Das Frühstück bestand an beiden Morgen aus einer Schüssel Müsli, zwei Toast, Marmelade, Butter, einem gebratenen Ei, Orangensaft und einer Kanne Tee. Es hat uns geschmeckt und war auch genügend, aber entspricht nicht dem Standard eines 5* Hotels. (Man muss allerdings auch erwähnen, dass neben uns nur noch 2 weitere Gäste anwesend waren und es somit nachhaltig und umweltbewusst ist, keine großen Mengen an Essen anzubieten und diese dann eventuell wegwerfen zu müssen)Das gesamte Hotel ist luxuriös ausgestattet. Lediglich die Außenanlagen / Grünanlagen müssen wieder etwas mehr gepflegt werden.Alles in allem hatten wir eine hervorragende Zeit im Hackthorns und würden wieder kommen. Wor können dieses Hotel ruhigen Gewissens empfehlen und bedanken uns bei Eric für seine freundliche Art und die Erfüllung all unserer Anliegen.

Wonderful experience! The room is comfortable, with a geothermal floor bathroom, memory cotton pillows, a down duvet, and the good quality bottle water, one Pure, in the room. The view from the room is beautiful. You can overlook the whole city. The manager Yu is very nice and friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Provide us variety choice of breakfast. He is like a caring friend. We'll definitely come back!超棒的体验！酒店房间很舒服，有地热浴室，记忆棉枕头，羽绒被，还有房间里的one pure水，口感柔软。酒店经理也特别好，态度亲和，有求必应，给很用心的给我们换着花样的做早餐，像朋友一样。我们下次来CHCH一定会再回来！

Perfect place to stay, nice city view, fantastic services.

Very unpleasant experience and unethical behaviour by the property manager Eric. We checked out of the hotel and got charged $80 for a luggage rack that the manager claims we broke during our stay. No prior communication or effort was made by the manager to contact us or inform us of the issue. He feels free to take the money from my card and then calls me “ridiculous” for questioning him about this over the phone.The rooms were not cleaned property. The food was below average and amenities in the room were uncleaned from previous use.Although the property and location itself is beautiful the service and the transparency of their staff is poor. Will not recommend staying there.
