Plenty of space for parking, pleasant enough surroundings. Good access to walking tracks. Unfortunately a bit secluded and a decent amount of evidence of previous car break-ins on the ground.

Nice spot for fresh air right in Christchurch. Lots of open space, and you can wind your way through the sheep fields if that's what you want. The path by the creek is pleasant, but when we went, there had been a lot of rain so it was pretty muddy. Anyway, I definitely enjoyed myself and would recommend walking this park.

Good parking but it's isolated from the ad surrounding properties so security is bad. My car had a window broken and a bag stolen. I've heard of other cars being vandalised. Park on the road and walk in.

long & narrow & shared entry/exit road, be careful you can get trapped in,this carpark has seen a significant rise of car break in crime, anti social behavior since 2021.&If you seriously want to park your car here, make sure there's lots of cars already parked, & people around, you wanna see at least 8/10+ cars. If you see only 1 to 3 cars parked in the Mt Vermin carpark, I suggest you turn around & quickly get out, to risky.It's wise to just park on the public street anyway, there's a couple of other entry pointsOverall great walk & worth while view. I think the Huntsbury reserve offers a better alternative, but that's just me, kekeke.

BE AWARE, your car WILL get broken a petty thief is taking advantage of this spot and stakes out cars my window got smashed and the whole car park is glittering with glass .

This carpark is not good! Don’t park here unless you want your car broken into! Lots of cars are always broken into on a daily basis.. you could see from all the broken glass on the ground. Be careful if you park there, or better yet, park your car way outside, by the side of the road.
