Amber Early Learning Centre

I am a fully qualified teacher and have been working for Amber ELC since March 2020. I love the family environment and the genuine love and affection for all tamariki here. Our small team work hard to provide meaningful learning experiences, including community involvement by visiting the local Rest Home. Both our elderly and our young get so much from these visits, which is lovely to see. We also have a fabulous working relationship with Takanini School, which helps transition our fabulous 4s into Primary school children. Motivational and Learning environment, not only for the kids but for the teachers too as a whole. This has led me to decide that I should be pursuing my career in childcare only. Being a reliever teacher in Amber Early Learning Center, I feel a great sense of enthusiasm and do appreciate the family like positive environment. Children are being given attention individually on the areas that needs improvement or change. Learning lots of new things everyday from well experienced & well educated staff.

I have been an unqualified teacher at this centre since June 2019 when the new owners took possession. What an awesome centre it has become in that time. All fixtures, fittings and furnishing has been replaced with fresh innovative child friendly equipment. There are also plans for a major overhaul of the outside playgrounds. We are a great team of friendly teachers who are passionate about our work and endeavour to include the families and community in all our decisions. The interaction and growth of the children as they move from infants to school age is magic to see and l consider it a privilege to be part of this process. Anyone looking for quality childcare should give Amber early learning centre serious consideration.

Highly recommend this center. Very welcoming, Super friendly and and helpful team at Amber. Great facility, clean, separate rooms for different age levels with experienced teachers who have a genuine interest in the learning of each child. This was my daughter's first childcare center where she was so comfortable and happy in her second home environment , great learning and development at Amber!!!!!

I have two of children now going to this day care for over a year now. This day care, being a owner operated center, gives us a satisfaction that the children are being looked after with a bit more care and with a personal touch. We often speak with the owner/manager on regular basis and we see her over looking all aspects of the center, including teachers, play area etc.Teachers, for both toddler and infant section are lovely and very considerate as both of our children are in a section each and we've never been more happier for them on how they are being taken care of.Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Not Recommended at all. I enrolled my 7 months old baby in the centre. First worst thing about them is they don’t wipe the noses of the babies at all. Teachers will pick your baby when you are around will fake that they are playing with your baby but actually they do not care babies well. My baby fell on the table and hurt himself on his ear they didn’t even wipe the blood properly and didn’t apply anything on that, they didn’t call me or my husband either to tell that this incident happened. Once we reached there to pick the baby up they told us then and said it was a little incident. Very irresponsible behaviour , so unprofessional. Please never put your baby in this daycare.. Very disappointed ☹️

Hi, my daughter has been enrolled in this centre from last 8 months. The environment here is very welcoming and staff is very caring. I feel very comfortable after leaving my daughter in the centre. I feel this place is a second home for my daughter. Centre manager is soft spoken and has understanding nature.Thanks

My both kids goes to this centre and we are really happy with them !!! Teachers are professional and they look after kids really well at the same time they train them to be independent !!! I can see huge improvement in my kids since they are going to Amber!!! Centre management is really approachable and helpful too
