Was an absolute shocker. Drove my car home and it was leaking on my driveway from after fixing my steering. Cars shouldn't leak oil after leaving mechanics

Disappointing. Been provided with a quote for “worst case scenario” but been advised that it is likely about $200 lower. I asked to minimise costs if at all possible as I am on a tight budget. When the work was done, I was invoiced not only the total of the “worst case scenario”, but $44 in addition because the wipers had been misquoted.When I tried to enquire why it was not possible to minimise costs by repairing/ cleaning the faulty parts (as was suggested to me as a possibility), and instead were replaced, I was not given any explanation to my question why the replacement of the two different parts was necessary. I wouldn’t go there again.
