I have returned from Aus after 10 years and this place is still amazing. Renovations are taking place at the original entrance. The server was really patient with me as I couldn't decide what to get. I decided on the rice with 3 curries and a roti and these small deep fried pastry and potato things as well as tamarin sauce. The only problem was I didn't order more because I am not local anymore. Happy Diwali ☺️

I ordered Mawa peda and was highly disappointed fm (one of your Sandringham branch )It tasted nothing like peda. Also it had too much sugar in it and there was no option to try and taste. I still went and bought some and they didn’t even pack it in a Mithai box and just handed over in a paper bag. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

Went there on Diwali day extremely long queue staff seem to be moving at a snails pace on this particular day. Just two people serving. Like how is this possible on such a busy day. Waited 40 mins and left. So disappointed

Beautifully flavoured vegetarian curries. Nice and spicy tamarind chutney. I had really friendly service when I came here. A lot of other reviewers say they had grumpy, rude staff but I really think that this may be a case of “you get out what you put in”! The lady that served me was helpful, warm and lovely to deal with. Can’t fault the food, service or pricing.
