I don't know if there is a Timaru branch anymore, but there was a lot of variety. And they were good with telling us information helping us decide what we were going to go with for our kitchen. They worked in good with easy kitchens and our builders.

Carolyn Hendry was extremely helpful - she had to deal with a rushed, stressed social worker, me, who came in without an appointment and asked why my new Falcon did not come with a baking tray - Carolyn took it quietly and stated that she would get back to me by the next day. Carolyn got back to me that day!!! Furthermore, I found that they no longer come with baking trays and was in the process of ordering one off line & she came back to me saying that they found one in store and I can pick it up!!!Wow, extra mile service - I will definetly be recommending Kitchen Things to my friends! :-)

-Edit-Kitchen and Things have agreed to replace the appliance, so I have changed the rating from one to four stars because it wasn't without fuss. However, the phone call and apology made up for the frustration.------Sales people are helpful but the delivered a damaged appliance and then refused to remedy the issue. Overall experience has been terrible which is fairly bitter given you're paying a premium for european appliance and I expected a better service as a result.Make sure that you're home at the time of delivery to inspect the appliance, or purchase elsewhere from someone that supports their customers.

1 star for Kitchen Things back up service so far but definitely 5 for Carolyn Hendry from the Christchurch branch. She did a fantastic job of helping us solve a problem that’s been dragging on for 2 months. This was a problem from another branch but when I contacted her, she went out to bat for us. She got us a tide over solution in 2 days. Thank you Carolyn. Let’s hope we can get a satisfactory resolution to our oven fault and improve my rating for the business.

Amazing store and customer service!!! We had Jordan Moss assist us with our new purchase of Smeg Freestanding Oven with Gas cooktop. I can recommend Carolyn Hendry for her honesty, product knowledge and customer service. We enquired about a suitable dryer to match an existing older front loader and she took the time to find out and communicate by email.We decided not to go ahead but accepted her offer to let us know when the model was next on special and she did so.I consider this exceptional service.

Carolyn was amazing! She provided us with great support and assistance with the logistics for all the appliances needed for our new build on the Coast. Offering to hold our order for several months allowed us to order early to avoid delays and price hikes in the midst of covid/inflation which meant a lot less stress for us. Thanks!
