Their bbq/roast pork on rice meals are delicious. They are a local eatery that’s been around for a long time in South Auckland. I recommend getting a side of spring onion & chilli oil too.

The old lady, owner is not honest when She serves and sells the food, I did order roast pork and price is displayed is $63.63, but when I pay on eftpos is shown $64, even it is small amount ofmoney, but this is also stealing money from customers, this is not the first time, a few months ago as well, when She not allowed for customers getting inside the store, wait outside to order and she did the same.... Ok, this is the last time i come,.... Cantonese is disonest to make business

The only roast pork & duck place my fam buy from - we've tried a bunch of takeaways/restaurants around Auckland but always come back here!As one of the other reviewers said, don't expect friendly chats or warm customer service, just really yum food.

By far the best Chinese roast I have ever tasted, and I've been to many. Been going here for years (as well as their main restaurant in Panmure) Delicious, a must try.

Has it changed over the years? Was here standing outside for my order last evening. Couldn't recapture my moment as I recall the first time I tried so many years ago of a BBQ pork & rice....And then the moment came ..... memories of over 40 years ago ..I'm sorry it wasn't the same .:(

Proper Siu mei (roast meat) like you get in Hong Kong.Cantonese roast pork, pork belly, duck and/or chicken with rice, spring onions, and chilli sauce if you like it spicy.It is not flash but the food is perfect and the prices are good.Less than $15 a head for a small" portion which is huge unless you are a glutton.Opposite MacDonalds in Otahuhu so you can park there but eat real food at this place instead.You may be surprised to see locals wearing pyjamas at dinner time in a restaurant

Very sad serving for a medium meal FROM WHERE THEY USE TO BE, I understand the prices going up, I ordered x2 medium BBQ Pork & rice & to see the sliced bbq pork cut in half again to make it look like heaps is daylight robbery.Tai Ping might be the way to go ?& I love this place, that well may change soon
