BEST NIGHT OUT! Very friendly staff with recommendations and so delicious food. We had the best night out with a group of friends and family with our meals being cook fresh off the table! My new favourite teppan yaki place, definitely recommending to my uni friends.

We tried out En Izakaya following a film and we chose the 9 Course Zen menu to try a selection of their dishes.The salmon and market fish sashimi, salmon nigiri and sushi were delicious, fresh and tasty along with the pumpkin and prawn tempura, however the other dishes were average at best, including chicken karaage with no sauce, salmon teriyaki with minimal glaze and tofu.Overall, it was underwhelming to my palate and expectations.

Came here before a show at Aotea Centre on a Thursday and the service was quick. We told the waitress that we need to be gone within an hour and the food came pouring out. It wasn't too busy of a night either but they have regular stream of customers coming in. Nice decor, makes you feel like you're in Japan. Each table has a little call bell too so you don't have to constantly look up hoping to catch the eye of to a staff. Bar and booth available for that authentic experience.Food was average they have a range of hot and cold meals. The scallop capacio was particularly disappointing was the scallop itself was tasteless (doesn't have the sweetness of fresh scallops) covered in powering dressing to make up for it.Other than that food and drink were well within expectations.$112 for one beer and assorted food for two average sized eaters.

Came here for lunch, they have one site that allows you to order dishes from the menu, another side has Teppanyaki.The lunch special is around $20 per person, has rice, miso soup, sashimi, etc. Which is quite good.The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, quite a cosy place to be.

Went there twice. Once was izakaya style dinner. The other time was their lunch set meals. My colleagues and I really enjoyed their lunch set meals. Food portion and quality is great. Definitely consistent Lunch sets are definitely more value for money than the dinner, which is slightly pricey.
